Written translation
Technical, business, marketing, literary and artistic texts — preserving the style, format and context of the original.
Polish · Romanian · Bulgarian — language pairs the market lacks, handled by one team for over a quarter of a century. Experience, translation memories and human quality control — supported, not replaced, by AI.
From the start we specialised in Polish, Romanian and Bulgarian — directions most agencies handle through intermediaries and AI. We work in them directly, with our own terminology and translation memory built over the years.
The core of our work since the '90s. Technical, business and legal projects between two markets that are growing ever closer.
Full coverage of the Bulgarian direction — with experience in industrial, energy and commercial terminology.
For agencies and international clients — English to and from Bulgarian and Romanian, with the same direct, in-house quality.
Technical, business, marketing, literary and artistic texts — preserving the style, format and context of the original.
Industry, mining, energy and new technologies. Client terminology kept consistent across every project.
Consecutive and simultaneous — conferences, negotiations, training and business meetings, on site or online.
Work in CAT tools — Trados, memoQ, OmegaT. Client translation memories and glossaries guarantee the same quality on every next project.
We see the enormous potential of AI — and at the same time we know technology alone is not enough. That is why AI is a tool that supports professionals, never a replacement for them.
The text enters our system: analysis of similar segments, matching of translation memories and client terminology.
An experienced translator works in CAT tools, with consistent terminology and the full project context.
Technology speeds up the work: consistency analysis, terminology control, finding similar translations in our knowledge base.
Every text goes through a linguist's review. Style, context and specialised meaning — these we never hand over to a machine.
Our story began in the late 1990s in Poland, in Kraków. Back then the translation market looked completely different from today — documents were sent by post or fax, and contact with clients took far more work, trust and direct responsibility.
From the start we specialised in the languages the market was missing: Romanian and Bulgarian. Over time, translation became for us not just a service but an entire working system based on experience, terminology, consistency and accountability for quality.
Over a quarter of a century we have worked with clients and agencies from more than a dozen countries, delivering technical, business, marketing, literary and artistic projects, as well as specialised translations in fields such as industry, mining, energy and new technologies.
We have also worked on more sensitive matters — arranging translation for the Chancellery of the President of Poland Lech Wałęsa and for the commander of the Warsaw Garrison, Gen. Kazimierz Gilarski.
Very early on we began using CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ and OmegaT. For us, translation was never simply about moving words from one language to another. What mattered was consistency, client terminology, format, context and the ability to keep the same quality across subsequent projects. Over the years this let us build our own knowledge base, translation memories and experience, which today are among the company's most important assets. They are exactly what lets us work faster, more accurately and more consistently.
The translation market is now changing very fast under the influence of artificial intelligence. We see the enormous potential of AI, but at the same time we know that technology alone is not enough. Automatic translations may look good at first glance, but they often make mistakes in terminology, style, context or the specialised meaning of a text. That is why we do not treat AI as a replacement for the translator. We treat it as a tool that can support professionals, speed up the work, help analyse similar segments, maintain consistency and control quality.
Our goal is to combine years of experience, TM (Translation Memory), professional translation tools, automation and human quality control into one practical working model. We want to build an internal system that supports our day-to-day work: from project management, through text analysis and finding similar translations, to terminology and quality control. The system is meant to work first and foremost for us — securely, in line with GDPR requirements and under the company's full control. Only once we have confirmed in practice that this model genuinely improves the speed, quality and organisation of the work will we be able to present it to clients as a new service.
We don't want to sell “AI” itself. We want to develop professional, secure, technology-supported translation in which human experience, data gathered over the years and modern tools work together.

My biggest client was entering the Bulgarian market. Out of all the samples, they chose the Butex team's translation — I recommend them without reservation.
Time and again I was impressed by their skill where others gave up. The highest level of aviation terminology — always on time.
